Thank you. Still deciding whether or not to go ported. If I go ported I'll gain 5 dB, if I go sealed I can get an extra 8mm xmax which combined with the 555cm^2sd would be like having an extra woofer (4440 cm^2 of extra air displacement). Damn you decisions!!!

Welcome to the site.  May I ask how you figured out you would gain 5 db or the extra xmax?

Winisd and then also double checked using bassbox pro6. Shows a 3 dB bump from 28-45hz (if I remember correctly) the 5dB was a peak compared to a sealed box. Hope that answers your question

Thanks a lot man. Great vids. If you can shoot me a pm I've got a question about building a kerfed box. Not sure how to measure the kerf out (where to start the kerf cut).

You can disregard that pm request. I found your kerf how to, it has answered my questions.

Yeah I was a bit skeptical at first. But COULDNT be happier. Everything is beyond AWG standard and everything I grabbed was OFC even the 8ga and 10ga speaker wire. Definitely will be buying it again especially when they bring out their Kandy colored power/ ground wire.

Thanks @manofsteel means a lot coming from a stranger (seriously). Hoping to start back up again at the beginning of next month (April). Just can't really bend over or pick anything up yet. Haven't even been able to leave the house since 2-28 and its driving me nuts. Been modeling in winisd and bassbox pro (and sketchup)like a mad man (my mouse hand hurts lol)

Thanks a lot man. It does mean a lot getting support from strangers just because we enjoy the same thing(s). Pretty cool man. Can't wait for some more vids. I've added probably $400 worth of small things to my wish list Lol

Haha yeah, using a hobby to focus on when injured is always a good thing, just build some carts on different sites, and screen shot them so you remember what you want to get.

You're welcome. At least when you're down you can do more designing and planning before you start the install.
